The rating (RTG) below is the household rating. Read as “during the game, on average, 46.2% of the TV households in Buffalo had the game on.”
The share (SH) below is the % of households in the market who were watching TV at the time. Read as “on average, 78% of the households with a TV on at the time were watching the game.”
Note the “000s” below is the number of households and is not the number of viewers.
Yes, 5.4% of the Los Angeles market is more households than 46.2% of Buffalo, but this ranking is sorted by household rating. Sorry, Rams fans!
